Just outside Van Meek's back door is the barn which serves as the background for this page.
The barn, built in 1937, houses the shop where the art of hand engraving turkey calls is
carried out by Van and Paul Meek. This is not a computer generated or
laser
engraving process. All engraving is done by hand. The artwork is drawn
first
and then engraved into the wood.
